Below is a summary of our beliefs to help you better understand what we believe. In addition to the following statements we agree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
GOD
God is in control. He is our creator. He has eternally existed in three equal persons: the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

JESUS
Jesus is Lord! Jesus is the eternal Son of God, is co-equal and pre-existed with God the Father. Jesus was born to a virgin, sent by the Father to be the perfect reflection of God. He lived a sinless life and gave his life on the cross as the perfect sacrifice. By his death, Jesus reconciled all of creation back to the Father. We hold to the truth that on the third day Jesus resurrected proving his power over sin and death. We believe he ascended back to the Father and we long for the day when God the Father sends Jesus back to rule for all eternity.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal and pre-existed with the Father and Jesus. The Spirit is our proof that we belong to God, by salvation in Jesus. The Spirit was given by the Father, through Jesus, to the Church on the day of Pentecost. We believe the Holy Spirit has gifted the followers of Jesus with supernatural gifts used to achieve God’s Kingdom purposes. We believe the Spirit is our great Counselor who leads and reminds us of God’s Word.

THE BIBLE
Godʼs word to us, 66 books within the Old and New Testament. Written by human authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is our perfect guide on how to live and how to love.

THE CHURCH
Commissioned by Jesus to go and make disciples. We are a community of redeemed people who are committed to trusting in and living like Jesus and inspiring others to do the same.
SALVATION
Godʼs way to Heaven. Salvation is found only through Jesus. It is a free gift, received by faith in Jesus Christ, and having nothing to do with the efforts of man. You can't buy salvation. You can't earn salvation. It is God's gift to his people.
