Bonner Springs is a Church Plant that began in a school in Olathe, KS. Now after being gifted a church building, we have a home in Bonner Springs across from the High School. The first church in Acts devoted themselves to one another in the gospel and in fellowship. They prayed together, studied the Word together, ate together, and gave generously to meet the needs of those in their community. As a result, many people in the community came to faith in Christ and Christianity exploded due to this compassion. At New City Bonner, we are striving to make the same impact by devoting ourselves to one another and allowing that love to flow out into the community. Bonner has a “come as you are” casual atmosphere.
We offer opportunities for kids and students. All children ages 5th grade and younger check-in with a secure sticker system; the check-in process is quick and easy, and you’re given a secure code where only you can pick them up. Our Student Ministry meets Sundays at 10:00 AM for Worship and small groups during our service. All our staff and volunteers have completed thorough background checks. We provide a safe and secure environment.
When you come for the first time, don’t forget to stop by the WELCOME CENTER to introduce yourself. We’d love to meet you and answer any questions you may have.

Join us for our Men’s Breakfast—a morning to connect with other men, enjoy a great breakfast, and be encouraged in your walk with Jesus. Whether you’re new to New City or have been around for a while, this is a great opportunity to build relationships, grow together, and start the day with good food and meaningful conversation.
Light the Fires is a gathering for men who want to grow in brotherhood, faith, and leadership. Come connect with other men, experience what Fireside is all about, and discover how you can join—or help start—a Fireside in our community.
We’re planning to do a prayer walk at Maple Hill New City on October 3rd from 5–7 PM. The plan is to have groups of no more than four people walking designated routes and praying over the community and the city.
If you have a New City shirt, wear it! Other than that, all that’s required is a smiling face and a heart ready to pray.

Parenting Reset is an opportunity to pause, refocus, and discover a fresh vision for your family rooted in God’s truth.

Students 6-12th grades join us after the Bonner Springs High School Football game for 5th Quarter. This is an event to walk over after the football game and enjoy some fun and games outside as well as some dessert and snacks and hang with friends. Invite a friend to come with you to the game and walk over after for a FREE event. Or if you are at another football game, come over after.

Jesus changes us! This fall, students in 6th–12th grade are invited to step away from the noise and experience a weekend focused on the life-changing power of Jesus. Through worship, teaching, small groups, and meaningful time together, we’ll discover what happens when we truly encounter Jesus—and how He changes the way we think, live, and love.
Bring the whole family and join us for a fun-filled Fall Festival where there’s something for everyone! Enjoy a Worship service, Trunk or Treat, delicious food, bounce houses, games, and plenty of opportunities to make great memories together. Whether you’re new to our church or have been part of our community for years, you’re invited—and we’d love to have you join us! Come enjoy a safe, fun afternoon with your family and neighbors as we celebrate the season together.
