DEVOTED WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

Join the women of New City Shawnee for our Devoted Women's Conference on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11. Together, we will walk through Acts 2:37–47 to explore how the early church devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. Come be encouraged by God’s Word and be reminded of the God who sees and knows you. Register online by Tuesday, September 30, to receive a swag bag when you check-in on Friday.

Breakout Sessions:

At the Devoted Women’s Conference we will have time for breakout sessions. When you register you will be asked to select 2 of these sessions that you would like to attend. Please read the below descriptions to select which ones you are interested in as you register.

Learn more about the life, death, and the Resurrection of Jesus as we dive deeper into the scriptures and apply them to our lives. We will be able to answer the questions, "What is God telling us?" and "What are we going to do about it?"

Leader: Lauren Elliott

We were never meant to do life alone, but sometimes finding community can be hard! Join this breakout to learn tools to help push you out of your comfort zone and start making new church friends!

Leaders: Brenda Mooney and Michele Fortier

Do you want to begin inviting people into your home, but you're not sure where to start? Try an Open Table! An Open Table is where you host weekly dinners at your home and invite whomever the Holy Spirit is laying on your heart. This is a great way to begin pouring into people in a more intimate setting.

Leaders: Michelle Raney and Jennifer Gregory

Prayer is a foundational piece in the Christian walk. Jesus's death and Resurrection allow us to approach the throne of grace with boldness. If you're interested in growing in your prayer life or want to start for the first time, this breakout is for you!

Leaders: Anita Blair and Sarah Nolan
