RAYTOWN CAMPUS
Sundays at 10:30 AM
The first church in Acts devoted themselves to one another in the gospel and in fellowship. They prayed together, studied the Word together, ate together and gave generously to meet the needs of those in their community. As a result, many people in the community came to faith in Christ and Christianity exploded due to this compassion. At New City Church our campuses are striving to make the same impact by devoting ourselves to one another and allowing that love to flow out into the communities we serve.
When you arrive for the first time, you will be welcomed and greeted. New City has a “come as you are” casual atmosphere, so we hope you feel at home here.
All campuses offer special activities for kids and students. Times and locations vary by campus for middle and high school, so click the links above for more information on regular programming. All children ages 5th grade and younger check-in with a secure sticker system; the check-in process is quick and easy, and you’re given a secure code where only you can pick them up. All our staff and volunteers have completed thorough background checks. We provide a safe and secure enviornment.
When you come for the first time, don’t forget to stop by the WELCOME CENTER to introduce yourself. We’d love to meet you and your family, and answer any questions you may have.

Upcoming Events
Ladies, you’re invited! Join the women of New City Church Raytown for a relaxed morning of fellowship, encouragement, and genuine conversation. There’s no agenda just a sweet time to connect, breathe, share and be poured into as we focus on our theme: Seasoned with Grace. Bring a friend!
This year we are joining Samaritan’s Purse to send out gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to children in need around the world together with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The goal of this project is to teach our kids about the joy of giving to boys and girls in need, from ages 2 to 14.
You can help us get started by donating shoeboxes and items such as small toys, school supplies, personal care items, clothing, accessories, crafts, books, etc. These can be dropped in the donation bins in the lobby and Kid City check-in area starting on our Operation Christmas Child’s kickoff September 20. We will have shoebox packing parties on November 8 and 15.
What a great way to start a Christmas tradition that emphasizes giving and sharing the love of Jesus! The Lord says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
Baptism is a beautiful next step in your walk with Jesus and a public declaration of your faith. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone who has made the decision to be baptized. Whether this is your first step of obedience or a moment to share what God has done in your life, we would love for you to be part of this special event.
Invite your family and friends to come celebrate with you as we witness lives being changed for God’s glory.
If you are planning to be baptized, please make sure to register.
Are you currently serving or would like to serve on a ministry team? Gather with the ministry team and leaders for lunch, encouragement and to grow in your leadership ability.
Please make sure to register so we know how much food to prepare. We can’t wait to see you there!
Parenting is one of life’s greatest joys—and one of its greatest challenges. In the middle of busy schedules, changing seasons, and endless decisions, it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger picture. Parenting Reset is an opportunity to pause, refocus, and discover a fresh vision for your family rooted in God’s truth.
Join us for a special time of food, fellowship, and culture as we celebrate the beautiful diversity of our church family. Right after service, we will gather for a “Taste of Nations” event where everyone is invited to bring a dish that represents their country, culture, or heritage.
Each table will represent a different nation and will be decorated with the country’s flag. As we share a meal together, we will also have the opportunity to learn about different cultures, traditions, and stories from around the world.
This will be a wonderful time to connect, celebrate our differences, and remember how God brings people from every nation together as one family.
If you are planning to participate by bringing a dish, please register so we can prepare enough tables and ensure each country is represented.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Jesus changes us! This fall, students in 6th–12th grade are invited to step away from the noise and experience a weekend focused on the life-changing power of Jesus. Through worship, teaching, small groups, and meaningful time together, we’ll discover what happens when we truly encounter Jesus—and how He changes the way we think, live, and love.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry that helps people find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups of all kinds — addiction, grief, anxiety, broken relationships, and more. It's a place where people can bring their real struggles into the light and find healing through Jesus, community, and a proven process of biblical recovery. Bringing CR to Raytown means creating a safe, consistent space for people in our own community to experience that same freedom, right where they live.
Interested in helping lead, serve, or start Celebrate Recovery at New City Raytown? Join us for an Interest Meeting! You'll learn what the training process looks like, what roles need to be filled, what the time commitment involves, and what this ministry will look like at your campus. We need men and women from Raytown to help us build this — so even if you're just a little curious, come check it out. Dessert provided!
