Good AM. I wanted to share with you what I was reading this morning. Before I do let me share a Biblical principal with you:
God's power in your life comes after obedience not before it.
If you are waiting on God to "do" before you "do"...You may find that you never will.

With that in mind...Here is what I read this morning.

John 15:1-8
Focus on verse 8, what brings God honor?

Proverbs chapter 3
One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 3:5-6. This is a deep and rich text. Don't speed read this. Take the time to chew on this powerful little verse.
What is God saying to you about where you are placing your trust?
What will you do about it?

Psalms chapters 11-15
Focus on chapter 15. Today, would you qualify as a guest in the house of the Lord?
If no, then what do you need to repent (turn from)?

Repentance isn't a bad thing. It's a most beautiful thing. It's God's way of providing us an opportunity to reconnect with Himself. Turn from your sin and wicked behavior and prepare yourself to be a guest in the house of the Lord.

Father, I pray for each person who takes the time to read your words of truth today. May they be much more than words but rather life! May we be a people who not only read what you say but also have the faith and eagerness to obey. Thank You for the truth, may it set us free.
