Before you read further...Take a quick moment to pause and tell God thank you for something specific in your life. Okay...thanks for the quick worship service! I wanted to provide a follow up to yesterday's message. So, here is the list of Spirit given gifts. These are gifts Paul lists in 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12. My hope is that you, the follower of Jesus, would discover which gifts the Holy Spirit has given to you.
Here are 3 steps you can take that will help you discover your gifts.
- Which gift(s) do you naturally connect with?
(not which ones are you interested in…Or, which one(s) you wish you had.) - Ask spiritually minded people, who are close to you, if they identify these gifts in your life.
- Ask God to affirm what gift(s) you think you have.
Here is the list of Spirit given gifts. My prayer is that you take yet another step of discovering how God has gifted you.
