“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:16-21

Today’s Thought - Am I rich towards myself or rich towards God? How would my family answer that question? What would my checking and investment accounts declare?

Generosity Prompt – Write a prayer in your journal asking the Lord to show you what resources (skills, assets or income) you may have been “storing up” that someone may need. Ask Him to tangibly reveal how you might hold these things loosely so that you are ready to give them when prompted.
