Job Title: Raytown Worship Minister

Reports to: Lead Campus Pastor of Raytown

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience and education.

Hours: Part-Time

New City Church is a multi-site church in the Kansas City metro. We are seeking a Worship Minister for our campus in Raytown, MO.   • Is a follower of Jesus who seeks His Kingdom and lives righteously.

  • Shows evidence of an ability to build and develop a worship arts team (both vocals and musicians).

  • Shows evidence of competency in Planning Center.

  • Shows evidence of being a problem solver in worship and tech ministries.

  • Has a heart of generosity.

  • Believes in our vision to make disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples.

 Abbreviated Job Description:

The Worship Minister position will be responsible for the overall leadership of the worship and technical ministries within New City Church Raytown:

  1. Oversee the Worship Ministries on Sunday morning.

  2. Develop and Lead the Worship Team.

  3. Oversee Worship Arts and Technology- stage, screen, and sound.

Education and Experience

  • A degree is preferred, but not necessary. A strong work ethic, the mindset of a learner, and a desire to develop others is required.

  • At least 3-5 years experience in a worship leadership role.

  • Must be aligned with New City’s Vision, Statement of Faith, and Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
