I Need a Miracle | Prayer Gathering

  • NCC Edgerton & NCC Shawnee (map)

Are you facing a situation and you don't know what to do? Have you lost all hope? Have you tried "everything else?" If so, you need a miracle. The Elders and leaders of New City Church would like to hear your story and pray specifically for you and God's working in your life.

Sundays, April 8-April 29 | 5p-6:30p
Main Auditorium (Shawnee or Edgerton)

We understand that many people have never been to a "prayer gathering." For this reason you might have a lot of questions. Let me try to answer some of those for you.

FAQ:
Will I have to pray out loud?
No, let me put you at ease, you will not have to do or say anything that you don't want to do or say.

I noticed the prayer gathering lasts from 5:00-6:30. Will I be praying that whole time?
Our prayer gathering will be divided into 3 sections: Discovery, Reflection, and Intentional Prayer.

Discovery:
When you arrive, you will be handed a piece of paper that asks 2 questions: 1) What is your name? 2) What do you need prayer for? After you answer these 2 questions, someone will lead you into our main auditorium.

Reflection:
This time of personal reflection will last between 20-30 minutes. During this time, you will be given a "Prayer Guide." This guide will provide several scriptures and prayers for you to reflect on.

Intentional Prayer:
After the time of reflection, one of our Elders or Leaders will ask if they can pray for you. During this time, you will have the opportunity to share what you need prayer for. Once you feel you have explained what you need prayer for, the Elder or Leader will pray specifically for you.

After your time of Intentional Prayer, you are welcome to stay to pray and worship or you can leave and go about your evening.

Who will be praying for me?
All of our prayer leaders will be Elders or leaders within New City Church. We will have men pray for men, women pray for women, and couples pray for couples.

Do I need to bring anything?
You may want to bring your Bible and something to take notes on.

Is there childcare?
No, we are not providing childcare. But your children are welcome to join with you.
