Whether you’re looking for Bible study, community, support, or a place to grow in your faith—there’s a group for you. After service, take a few minutes to walk around, meet group leaders, ask questions, and sign up for a group that works for your schedule and season of life. Life is better together—don’t miss it!

Ladies, come join us for an apple-pie-making night! You’ll peel and cut your apples, mix your filling and take home a pie that’s ready to bake! We will provide most of the ingredients and supplies, but bring 6-8 apples of your choice (green or a sour variety are preferred). If you’re able, bring a paring knife or an apple peeler if you have one to share. We will also provide some wonderful fall snacks and drinks for the evening!
Please register so we can have supplies and snacks for you! Childcare will be available with registration by Sept 5th. All ladies high-school age and up are welcome to attend.

Join us as we serve one of our community partners - Emerson Elementary. We need help running games, serving the food, and making our community feel known as we love and serve them well. At this outreach event, we will provide games, music, food, and fun as kids and teachers celebrate the beginning of another school year!

Come enjoy community, laughter, and all the fall vibes as we make custom fall doormats together. No crafting skills required — just bring yourself and maybe a friend!

Join us for Student Fall Retreat. This years theme is GRAVITATE - are you moving towards or away from God? Our focus for the weekend will be James 4:8, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." We will dive into this topic through personal quiet time, worship, teaching, and small groups!
Join us for the Devoted Women's Conference on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11. Together, we will walk through Acts 2:37–47 to explore how the early church devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. Come be encouraged by God’s Word and be reminded of the God who sees and knows you.
Our Baby Dedication is a beautiful celebration where parents commit to raising their children in a God-honoring home. It’s a special moment to thank God for the gift of a child and to ask for His guidance, protection, and blessing over their life.
This is not a baptism, but a public declaration of the parents’ desire to lead their child in faith, supported by their church family. During the service, our pastors pray over each child and family, and the congregation joins in committing to support them through love, encouragement, and prayer.
If you would like to participate, please make sure to register your child’s name and age ahead of time so we can prepare accordingly.
We’re honored to be part of this milestone and to partner with families as they begin the journey of raising children to know and love Jesus.

Each prayer night we gather together to learn about and practice prayer with others. The rhythm each night include times for both personal and corporate prayer. Know that you can participate at your own pace, out loud or just come rest in the Lord.
No matter where you are at on our journey, if you are ready to grow in prayer, we hope these nights help move the needle in your life towards intentional connection with Jesus.
We hope this evening is an opportunity to teach and put into practice this important faith habit.
Will you open your driveways for a safe place for your friends, family, and neighbors to spend a fun night together? Maybe add a fire pit, hot dogs, candy, and some hot chocolate for a fun touch to a chilly night of trick-or-treating. New City will provide yard signs saying "This driveway hosted by New City". If hosting your address will be posted on the New City FB pages as "safe stops" for Halloween night. Please register your driveway so we know who is hosting!

In the heat of life--when things are dry, hard, or overwhelming--God offers Living Water through Jesus Christ. This VBS will help kids discover how God refreshes, protects, and empowers us in every season. This event is free and open to the community. We will provide a light dinner from 5:30-6:15 PM every night.

Join us for a service on Sunday morning August 3 as New City West gathers at The Orchard! We’d love for you to be part of a powerful time of community, worship, and the Word. Come expectant—there’s a place for you here.
We will have a night at the KC Monarchs' ballpark! Come hang out with your church friends for a social night out. We will have access to The Backyard where you can enjoy an All-You-Can-Eat Ballpark style buffet with hot dogs, brats, burgers, BBQ chicken, and sides, plus unlimited water/soda. You’ll also get an Infield Reserve level ticket to the game. It’s the perfect space for socializing with plenty of yard games and music to enjoy. Tickets are $40/person kids 2 and under are free and there is no fee for parking!

New City Olathe serves a meal at Somerset apartments every 1st and 3rd Friday at 5:00 PM. We would love to have your help in serving this meal and being the hands and feet of Jesus to the residents of the apartment. This is a bi-monthly team that partners with Mission Southside.

Ladies, come join us for an intimate evening of friendship and fellowship. Bring a favorite faith-based book that helped you get closer to Jesus or helped your faith grow in some way - a book you treasure (but don't mind parting with) to swap it with someone else's gem. Who knows, you might leave with a book that will change your life! We will provide snacks and drinks, and childcare for those that register by Friday, July 4. All women high-school-aged and up are welcome to attend.
Students 6th-12th, this year we are going to Camp Siloam in Siloam Springs, AR! Camp will run from Monday afternoon to Friday Morning. Each day we will have worship, small groups, team games, there is free time, and some late night games. Camp Siloam has something for everyone, basketball, sand volleyball, swimming pool, gaga ball, ping pong, and more! The goal for us is to get away for a week to grow in our relationship with Jesus and one another, as well as having fun while we do it! Please register and pay by June 8.

All you need to do is bring a side dish, dessert, or drinks to share.

It’s going to be a great time for our church family to relax, connect, and enjoy the day together. We hope to see you there!
The City of Shawnee puts on an event with food trucks, live music, bounce houses, yard games, vendors, activities for kids, and fireworks at the end of the night called PARKED. New City Church West gets to partner with the city by sponsoring the kid's play area with inflatables and outdoor fun. Games will run till about 8:15 PM.
