Don’t miss out on Winter Jam 2026 at the T-Mobile Center on Saturday, January 31, 2026! Featured artists such as Matthew West, Katy Nichole, Hulvey and more will be performing live on stage. Tickets are $15 at the door and it's cash only. Food and merch at the event can be purchased with card.
We will meet at the Shawnee campus and be leaving at 3:00 PM. Make sure to register by January 25 so that you are guaranteed a ride to and from the event.
5th graders will be checking out what it will be like to be in middle school services. On the first Sunday of January, February, March, April, and May - 5th grade students will come upstairs after check in to worship and hang with the leaders and students of 6th-8th grade. Middle school service is only offered during second service so if you attend first on those Sundays, students will be in their normal class downstairs. Our hope is to make this transition for them as natural and smooth for them as possible before our official Move-Up Day on May 31!

Ladies, come join us as we learn how to better "Love Our Neighbors." Veneita Taulbee, who works with homeless people around the KC metro, will be sharing with us about homelessness, and how we can help. We will be assembling bags of supplies that can be given to the homeless.
Also, we will be collecting donations for Uplift, a local ministry to the homeless in Kansas City. They are in need of gently used (or new) coats, gloves, hats, blankets/sleeping bags, sweatshirts, long johns, socks, toiletries, and tents. They can use anything that would be worthy of taking on a camping trip! They urgently need men’s jeans or pants waist sizes 30-36, tennis shoes, and men's or women’s underwear. So clean out your closets and bring any donations with you to this event.

Written and composed in 2014, Jesse and Leah Roberts (Poor Bishop Hooper) were inspired to write Golgotha to help the curious better understand the truth and importance of Jesus’ crucifixion. Complementing the beautiful visual history that surrounds the ‘Stations of the Cross’ tradition, they composed fourteen, scripture-based original songs that invite the mind and heart to experience the Savior’s suffering in new ways. With original music at its core, The Golgotha Experience uses powerful visuals, God’s Word, and guided prayer, to draw people nearer to Jesus.
Since its origin, The Golgotha Experience has become a full-fledged ministry, and has had a widespread spiritual impact on thousands of individuals around the country. The Roberts have been blessed to serve in a variety of settings - from living rooms and churches, to theaters and prisons. Their prayer is that God would continue to use The Golgotha Experience for His purposes and for the strengthening of His people.
'Golgotha' is the Aramaic term used in the scriptures meaning, 'the place of the skull;' the hill on which Jesus was crucified.
Do you have a interest in going on New City's mission trip to Kenya? We will be meeting with beneficiaries of A Bright Future for Kids seeing the difference this organization makes in their lives. We will be helping with goat pens, gospel evangelism, and bible studies, as well as spending 1:1 time with the beneficiaries hearing stories about their shops and their families.
We will host 2 trainings to prepare for this missions trip.

Come celebrate The Greatest Gift this Christmas at New City Church! This will be a powerful, family-centered evening filled with joy, music, laughter, and the true story of Christmas. Experience the wonder through a kids nativity performance as they retell the birth of Jesus. There will also be a student drama called, "The Gift Exchange” — a fun and thought-provoking skit about finding true meaning beyond the wrapping paper. We will have dynamic worship, classic carols, and soul-stirring music that lifts up the name of Jesus followed up by a clear and gospel-centered word reminding us that God gave us His best gift in Jesus. After the service, join us for family photos, cookies, and hot cocoa in the lobby!

Students 6-12th grade join us for our Student City Edgerton Christmas pajama party! We will have food, games, and Christmas festivities! Bring a white elephant gift that is $10 or less if you want to participate in the gift exchange.

Students join us for a fun Christmas party! There will be lots of food, fun and games! We’ll have a cookie contest with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, along with a white elephant gift exchange. The rules for the gift exchange are simple: everyone brings one wrapped, anonymous gift, $15 or under. This is a great time to invite your friends to join you. Don't forget to register yourself and those coming with you! Register by December 7.
Your weekend starts here! Men, trade the weekend rush for a casual, caffeine-fueled start at Grounded Sole Coffeehouse. This is fellowship designed simply for guys to connect. A light breakfast will be provided and waiting for you. Just buy your own cup of coffee. Don't miss it!
Join us for our 5th annual Christmas Movie Night! Wear your best Christmas outfit and invite a friend! We will watch a Christmas movie, enjoy snacks and hot drinks, and have a mug exchange. If you’d like to participate in the mug exchange, bring a mug stuffed with any kind of goodies. All ladies high school age and up are welcome to attend.

At our Prayer Nights at New City KCK, we are focused on asking Him just that!
Each prayer night we gather together to learn about and practice prayer with others. The rhythm each night include times for both personal and corporate prayer. Know that you can participate at your own pace, out loud or just come rest in the Lord.
No matter where you are at on our journey, if you are ready to grow in prayer, we hope these nights help move the needle in your life towards intentional connection with Jesus.
We hope this evening is an opportunity to teach and put into practice this important faith habit.
