Rise Up | Women's Conference

  • NCC Shawnee 7230 Quivira Drive Shawnee, KS, 66216 United States (map)

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Calling all women!! In a day and age where we face a culture that wants to define us, social media that wants to compare us, and a society that wants to limit us, we want to change the narrative and RISE UP to stand on God’s truths!

Our speakers will be expanding on why it’s important to encourage one another, step into our purpose, know how the Father sees us and live our lives to the fullest every day. It will be an environment full of worship, the Word, laughter, prayer and togetherness.

We hope you will join us for an afternoon of community, encouragement, and "straightening each other's crowns" at the 2019 Rise Up! Women's Conference.

SPEAKERS:

Anita Blair is a gifted teacher of discipleship and prayer warrior extraordinaire at New City Church. She will be laying the foundation of our study in Isaiah 62 and preparing our hearts to hear the voice of the Lord.

Kellie Lemen is a member of New City Church's Brown to Green team and is passionate about making disciples, encouraging believers and using the Word of God as a lens for life. She lives and works in Kansas City, is an avid coffee drinker, and believes anything is possible when running on caffeine and Jesus! She will be teaching about the importance of leaning into our unique callings and ultimate Kingdom purpose while still here on earth.

Sabra Roe is a dedicated disciple maker, consistently serves at New City Church and strives to ensure her beliefs are founded in scripture. She enjoys spending time in the kitchen, creating silk floral design, and can often be found sipping on hot tea. She has a sincerity for women to understand how they were beautifully created by our loving Father and will be speaking about the freedom and confidence that comes along with properly placing our identities in Christ.

Dianna Bartel is the Pastor of Connections at New City Church. She will take some time to reflect on Isaiah 62:4 and discuss how God can make the empty things in our lives full. If your life feels barren, empty and not what you expected, how can we look to the Lord and not the world to fill that?
