Do you know the song, “Good, Good Father” by Housefires. I’m not sure what inspired the song but it reminds me of Matthew 7:9-11

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or, if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will you Father in heaven give good gifts those who ask him!”

At first the verse calls us evil but what Matthew is really doing is CONTRASTING your short falls with the Creator who has none. If, through your short falls, you still love your children like crazy, HOW MUCH MORE DOES HE LOVE YOUR CHILDREN, HOW MUCH MORE DOES HE LOVE YOU.

He is perfect in all of His ways.
