This month's Prayer and Praise will look a little different. We will begin at NOON on May 18 and go till NOON on May 19 - The Day of Pentecost - which in scripture is the day the disciples received the Holy Spirit. This also marks the promise that we too can have the Holy Spirit. Every 2 hours we will have a new worship leader lead us in worship, along with prayer prompts on different topics as we simply come to spend time in the presence of the Lord and seek Him.

Join us March 22 for a night of PRAYER & PRAISE. We will focus on Reconciliation and Alignment with the Father. We hope you will mark your calendar and bring someone with you. This will be at our Shawnee location. Childcare 0-5 provided with registration.

Pastor Casey has been a faithful pillar of the New City Church community for many years.  We are so thankful for the leadership, guidance, and love that he has poured into the people at the Edgerton Campus and New City Church as a whole. While we are sad to see them go, we are excited for Casey and Judy to start a new season in Florida, closer to their daughter and granddaughter!

Join with us as we take a short term mission trip to Puerto Rico in partnership with Send Relief. This is a great opportunity to go as a family (children must be 12+ to attend). Send Relief began responding to the needs in Puerto Rico after the devastation caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. Thousands of volunteers were mobilized in the aftermath of the storms to rebuild damaged homes, distribute meals, and share the hope of Christ through service.

What will you do? Mission teams will mainly engage in light construction to help repair and rebuild homes and churches. Members of mission teams may participate in community outreach through prayer walking, meal distributions, etc.

New City Church has been offered the opportunity to host 50 people from our congregation on a trip to the Holy Land! There you will be able to "walk where Jesus walked" in places such as Jerusalem, Capernaum, Mt. of Olives, Gethsemane, the Dead Sea, and the Sea of Galilee. We will leave for this ten-day Israel adventure on September 2nd and return on the 11th. Cost per person is roughly $5,000. If interested, please register for more information.

As we are in our ON PURPOSE series, we have been looking at what it looks like to pray, fast, give, and seek Kingdom on purpose. We will gather for another Prayer and Praise night as ONE CHURCH, many locations to pray, praise, and believe for God to meet us there as seek seek the throne room of God drawing closer to Him. 

We will wrap up our Rivals series with PRAYER AND PRAISE. In James 5, it says "Are any of you suffering? Pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord." We will gather as ONE CHURCH, many locations to pray, praise, and believe for healing for those who are sick. Join us as we come to the throne room of God seeking to draw closer to Him.

This is a 7-week training course that is the final step in our pathway with New City Neighborhoods. This is the 3rd class in the process after Neighborhoods 101 and B.L.E.S.S. Rhythms cohort.

In this class we will dive into the B.L.E.S.S. rhythms we teach as we dive deeper into New City Neighborhoods. This stands for begin in prayer, listen, eat together, serve and share your story. New City Neighborhoods is a network of micro churches that exists so that every neighborhood in Kansas City becomes familiar with the words and ways of Jesus.
